As a non-profit organization, we strive to keep our program costs affordable. This can only be accomplished with the support of our membership and community. To facilitate this, we give parents/guardians the option to volunteer for various tasks throughout the session, or they can opt-out immediately and pay the volunteer bond. Ideally. we would rather our members help us out through volunteering. We only ask for between 5 and 10 hours of volunteer time during each session per player registered. While we always need onfield help, many other tasks are available to accommodate those who may not be flexible with availability.
This fee applies to those who receive financial assistance such as KidSport and JumpStart as they do not cover this cost and it is mandatory for every registered player. Bond payment is due immediately for those who opt-out of volunteering during the session via cheque, e-transfer, or cash. Bonds will be added to player accounts near the last 2-3 weeks of the session for those who have not met their volunteer hours.

MJSA has implemented a fundraising bond in the form of a raffle draw. This will be used to offset costs and keep them affordable for as many individuals as we can. Fundraising Bonds will be $50 per player per session. Money and tickets will be due on a specified date for the raffle draw to take place. Any tickets/money not returned by the specified date will be charged to each player's account.
Future registration with MJSA will not be allowed until outstanding bond fees are paid in full.
