Dear MJSA Members,
I would like to start off by apologizing for the lack of communication from Moose Jaw Soccer Association since the Covid-19 Pandemic began. We took the difficult decision to lay off all staff members back in April and have not had the staff in place to deal with the day to day operations of the organization. This has been a failing on our part, this pandemic has stretched the board of directors thin and we haven't been able to keep up.
I have also had a family member diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and have been busy driving him to and from his chemotherapy appointments in Regina multiple times a week, and the organization hasn't had the attention its needed. I apologize for this and I am working with the Executive of the board of directors to get the organization moving again.
For those who have contacted and haven't received a response, please contact me, chairman.mjsa@gmail.com - and I will be replying within 24-48 hours.
We are hopeful that the staff we be able to return imminently so that we can began our season. We are hopeful to began our season starting the week of July 6th and we will inform our membership by June 30th on whether that date works or not. We have completed all procedures related to returning to the field, we are just looking to confirm everything with the City of Moose Jaw.
Please reach out to me directly if there are any questions or concerns:
James Booth
Chairman - Moose Jaw Soccer Association - Board of Directors.
